The vertical box profile is a component of the subframe system ATK 101 and basis of various solutions. It is used for vertical load transfer of the façade systems and fixed to the wall holders with rivets. To enable thermal expansion of the profile, a difference is made between slotted holes (sliding points) and fixed points during fastening. Together with the wall holders and their length, the geometry of the vertical profile determines the façade offset. This system can also compensate for tolerances of the building substrate. The profiles are mainly used as a base structure for horizontal systems for concealed fixings. Different geometries allow applications for all cladding materials. The profiles are available in 6 m lengths as standard.
