Advantages

  • Depending on requirements, the FRA can be used with the injection mortars FIS SB, FIS EM Plus and FIS V, thus offering top flexibility.
  • If the injection mortar FIS EM Plus is used, installation in diamond-drilled holes is also approved.
  • Thanks to the thread, the anchorage enables extremely high tensile loads.
The fischer rebar anchor FRA is a concrete steel bar with a friction-welded threaded part made of stainless steel. The FRA is a system component for rebar connections with fischer injection mortars FIS V and FIS EM. The mortar is extruded bubble free into the drill hole using the injection adapter. The mortar bonds the entire surface of the reinforcement bar with the drill hole wall. The fischer rebar anchor FRA is approved for post-installation mortared overlap joints, connection reinforcements and needling.

Assembly instruction

Functionality
  • Anchoring as with cast-in reinforcement bars in line with Eurocode 2 and DIN 1045-1.
  • The mortar is extruded bubble free into the drill hole using the injection adapter. The geometry causes a build-up of pressure in the drill hole, which pushes the injection adapter and extension tube automatically out of the drill hole.
  • The mortar bonds the entire surface of the reinforcement bar with the drill hole wall.
  • A special certification is necessary for installation according to approval in Germany. The fischer Academy offers the relevant training courses.
